Our History

Established during the recession in 2008, Essential Promotions had the ambition to deliver a better all-round customer experience. With more than 10 years industry experience and the passion for delivering the best to his customers, Noel took the plunge in setting up Essential Promotions determined to create a successful business offering the very best promotional merchandise.

Things have evolved since 2008 but still our passion to deliver the best all-round customer experience remains the same. We've grown year on year and we deliver a diverse range of promotional gifts nationwide and overseas. As we've grown so has our team and office. Our head office is based in the centre of Huddersfield and is home to our office team who look after the behind the scenes processes.

Introduction to the Programme

We are aware of the challenges for new businesses as we've been there ourselves and time is one of the biggest challenges. The Essential Partner Programme will enable a partner to hit the ground running from day one being 100% sales orientated. Our office based team manage the time consuming administrative tasks which enable you to focus purely on your customer base.

Who we are looking for

Our programme has been designed to suit experienced sales professionals, ideally with a background in the promotional merchandise industry, with the following skill set:

  • A proven background in a professional sales role
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage customer accounts effectively
  • Great organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Initiative to generate sales from cold calling and develop these calls into long term relationships
  • Dedication and commitment to the partner role and customer base

Self-driven, pro-active, a quick learner and enthusiastic about what we do but no experience in the promotional merchandise industry, don't worry, we would love to hear from you.

You will be given the support and assistance required to service your customer base which includes:

  • Full admin service provided by our office team to cover key functions such as:
    • Quotations
    • Samples
    • Order processing
    • Invoicing

Expected Income

As a partner working full time hours you can expect to earn up to £35k in your first year. You will be paid monthly and this will be based on your orders that were delivered in the previous month. This way you don't need to worry about waiting for your customer to pay us before we pay you.

Essential Reward Scheme

The Essential Reward Scheme is a unique industry commitment we are proud to offer our customers. Developed with our aim to deliver the best all-round customer experience in mind, the scheme consists of:
